“Leads” and Research for Partnerships, Sponsors, Joint Ventures, and wider access to participants

Minding our Nonprofit Business in terms of LEADS, Contacts, Customers, Clients, Participants

The work of nonprofit and that of a for-profit business is different in terms of outreach.

  • A business needs customers and sales.

Meanwhile a nonprofit perspective can treat those words as cringe-worthy concepts.

Replacement words.

  • Participants
  • Prospects
  • Stakeholders
  • Constituents
  • Interested parties
  • Advocates
  • Potential Partners
  • Would-be Team Members
  • Rookie Campers
  • Recruits
  • Sponsors

Instead of "sales," those in the nonprofit realm need to have focused acts of:

  • Outreach
  • Development
  • Engagement
  • Community building
  • Partnership cultivation
  • Resource development
  • Fundraising
  • Mission advancement

Instead of "customers", successful programs can lean upon:

  • Beneficiaries
  • Program participants
  • Community members
  • Clients
  • People/individuals we serve
  • Constituents
  • Partners
  • Stakeholders
  • Service recipients

Additional business terms to reframe:

  • "Market" → Community or service area
  • "Products" → Programs, services, or initiatives
  • "Marketing" → Community outreach or awareness building
  • "ROI" → Social impact or community benefit
  • "Bottom line" → Mission impact or social return
  • "Profit" → Surplus or sustainability

Video Demonstration of an AI system that seeks to obtain leads for a business -- but can also build outreach for prospects and partnerships for nonprofits.

Video length: 11-minutes, 15-seconds.

Objection:

Someone might say, just ask another AI took, one that is more, "off-the-shelf" to do that. Well, consider this outcome.

Asking Claude 3.5 Sonnet about leads is nearly fruitless

Prompt:

In Western PA there is a Remake Learning Network funded by the Grable Foundation. Can you get me a list of the nonprofit organizations that are associated with Remake Learning?

Result:

I should note that while I aim to be helpful, I don't have access to current, real-time information about organizational memberships and my information may be incomplete or outdated. The Remake Learning Network in Western Pennsylvania is a significant educational initiative, but rather than providing a potentially incomplete or inaccurate list, I'd recommend:

  1. Visiting the official Remake Learning website directly
  2. Contacting the Remake Learning Network staff
  3. Checking the Grable Foundation's grant records, which are public since they're a foundation

This would ensure you get the most current and accurate list of participating organizations. Would you like me to explain what I understand about Remake Learning's general mission and focus instead?

robust video demonstration of a Four Bot System, something that can be re-branded as "our Bot Relay."

Redundant warning. If you watch the video above, it is also within the one that follows.
Video length: 21-minutes, 35-seconds.
